December 3, Khetsuriani Sommelier and Wine School | Caucasus University has launched the WSET level 2 program.
The course was opened by the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, and Shalva Khetsuriani, the founder of Marani Khetsuriani.
The course is led by Giorgi Dartsimelia, President of the Georgian Association of Certified Guides, Member of the Georgian Sommelier Association, WSET Certified Course Trainer.
In the course, the trainee will study viticulture and winemaking issues, factors that significantly affect the quality of wine. During the lectures, the most important wine regions of the world, vine varieties, wines and their characteristic aromas will be discussed.
Teaching is carried out with a special textbook developed for the course.
At the end of the course, an exam will be held, after which the trainee will be awarded the WSET level 2 international wine qualification and will be issued an international certificate.
