On June 5, students of Marneuli Public School N2, a partner school of Caucasus University, staged the performance “Always and Everywhere, Georgia, I Am of You.”
Before the performance began, the audience was addressed by the President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia.
The performance depicted Georgia at the end of the nineteenth century, highlighting Ilia Chavchavadze’s public work, his assassination, and the key aspects of his literary legacy.
The main characters of the play included Ilia Chavchavadze, Olga Guramishvili, Akaki Tsereteli, Vazha-Pshavela, Iakob Gogebashvili, Ekaterine Gabashvili, as well as Bolsheviks Filipe Makharadze and Iliko Imerlishvili.
The script was based on archival materials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
