The project lasted for two weeks, with 20 top students selected from different universities of Georgia undergoing financial literacy trainings and after being divided into teams, were given a special task: to present a marketing campaign or product that would encourage cashless payment in Georgia.

The winning idea, called FOLI, is a different version of a payment bracelet that is tailored to youth and retirees, able to integrate different bank cards and customize to all payment facilities.

MasterCard awarded GEL 3,000 certificates to each member of the winning team, with the money they will fund their selected training courses.

Such competitions promote the financial literacy in the country and encourage cashless payments. The project is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Mastercard entry into the Georgian market.
