On September 16-22, Professor Paulo Mendonça of the University of Minho (Portugal) visited Caucasus University as part of his Erasmus + academic mobility.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia. The parties discussed the deepening of cooperation between universities.

It should be noted that during the visit, work meetings were held with the academic staff of the Architecture Program of Caucasus School of Technology, and the leaders of the same program.

Regarding the possibilities of implementing joint programs and conferences in the field of research, a work meeting was held with the Research Promotion Department, the parties introduced each other to the existing challenges in this field and agreed to deepen cooperation.

Within the framework of mobility, bachelor’s and master’s degree students of architecture had the opportunity to listen to a lecture on the topic: Lightweight and mixed weight building systems for refurbishment.

University of Minho is a partner of Caucasus University under the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility (ICM) program. The collaboration is aimed at the mobility of administrative and academic staff between universities.
