From January 25-28, Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, visited Jaipur, India, upon an honorary invitation. During his visit, NIMS University, founded and led by Chancellor Dr. Balvir S. Tomar, conferred upon him an honorary doctorate in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of higher education.

Notably, on January 26, the university hosted an event commemorating the 76th Republic Day, with Kakha Shengelia in attendance.

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Caucasus University and NIMS University, establishing an exchange program for students.

NIMS University is recognized as one of the top higher education institutions in India and is rated as the best private university in North India. It has been recognized as the 5th best emerging medical college in India by India Today and has received numerous other accolades for its academic excellence and innovative research.
