November Meetings and Public Lectures

Caucasus University hosts various important meetings throughout the year. The purpose of such activities is to provide students with the opportunity to gain extracurricular experience, to be constantly involved in the discussion of issues they find interesting and to meet professionals in a variety of fields.

 

In November, lectures, visits, and meetings with private and public sector representatives were held at Caucasus University, including a public lecture by Stanford University Professor James Doty, who spoke to the audience about 'Science of Compassion' and the latest scientific discoveries.

 

Branding Specialist Mr. Alex Chikovani held a master class for students interested in strategic communication on “Brand and Branding: A Smart Decision” where students received information on branding, marketing, sales and communications.

 

In addition, Ms. Teona Bagaturia, one of the most successful and long-term specialists in the field of human resources and organizational development, met with the students of Caucasus University and discussed all relevant issues in the HR field and employment market and provided the audience with the necessary career planning tips.

 

There was an interesting public lecture by the philosopher of law Mr. Giorgi Khubua on 'Fairness as a Principle of Justice'. At the end of the lecture, students had the opportunity to ask the invited speaker questions.

 

During the CSB Alumni Talks a public lecture was held by the Deputy Director General of the Bank of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Pailodze. He shared his experiences with the students and talked about the prospects for continuing their studies and career development after graduating from business school.

 

It is important that such meetings are held monthly at Caucasus University.
