On September 29, the official opening ceremony of the International Week was held at Caucasus University.

As part of International Week, during the week of September 29-October 3, the university is hosting up to academic and administrative staff members from various partner educational institutions across Europe.

The event was opened with a welcome remark by Ms. Irena Melua, Vice- President for Internationalization at the Caucasus University.

Additionally, the Director of the International Relations Department, Ms. Ketevan Karbaia, provided the participants with detailed information about the university’s mission, its internationalization policy, international relations, as well as the available student services and ongoing academic programs.

It is noteworthy that the International Week organized by Caucasus University includes both informational sessions on the methodology for initiating and implementing joint/double degree programs, student services provided by different departments, and meetings on sustainable tourism within the framework of the ENRICHER Hubs project. Furthermore, the program includes lectures delivered by professors from partner universities in collaboration with relevant faculties, as well as individual meetings with the university’s administrative staff.

The program also features cultural activities in Tbilisi and the Kakheti region, giving participants the opportunity to gain cultural and gastronomic experiences.

It is important to highlight that since 2015, Caucasus University has been actively engaged in the Erasmus+ credit mobility program and, according to national statistics, ranks first among private higher education institutions in terms of mobility implemented and funded projects.
