On January 31, Caucasus University welcomed Professor Sharon Scanlon, the Program Manager at the Entrepreneurship Center of Old Dominion University.

During her visit, she held an introductory meeting with Elene Jgharkava, Dean of the Caucasus School of Business, as well as representatives from the Department of International Relations and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.

The main topics of the meeting focused on student involvement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, best practices for fostering entrepreneurship within universities, and potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions. Professor Scanlon shared her experience and practical examples with the CU representatives, highlighting ways to support students’ innovative ideas and engage them in entrepreneurial activities.

Both parties agreed to pursue future cooperation, which will contribute to strengthening international relations between the two higher education institutions and create new entrepreneurial opportunities for students.
