On July 20, in the framework of project Media Dialogue 2021 for Conflict Sensitivity and Research” was held an online seminar “Georgia, Armenia and a German perspective was held on the situation in the Caucasus region. The project aims to promote democratic societies by strengthening collaboration with professional journalists, academics and students.
Eka Akobaia, Dean of Caucasus School of Governance and expert of international relations, delivered a presentation about the democratic development opportunities of Georgia, specifically, she analyzed the recent events in Georgia, in the direction of European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Caucasus School of Governance and Caucasus School of Media students participated in the online seminar.
The final part of the online seminar was interactive. The participants had the opportunity to express their positions about the conflicts in Georgia , Ukraine and in Karabakh, also the role of Media in strengthening democracy.
The next conference in the framework of project Media Dialogue will be held in September at Caucasus University.
