Opening of the Professor Zurab Bragvadze Auditorium

On July 2, the auditorium named after the historian and archaeologist Professor Zurab Bragvadze was opened at Caucasus University.

 

The event was attended by Kakha Shengelia, president of the university, along with administration representatives, members of Zurab's family, colleagues, and other guests. Kakha Shengelia spoke about Zurab Bragvadze, and other speakers also highlighted his professionalism and personal qualities, remembering his career and contributions to the university's development.

 

Professor Zurab Bragvadze had been actively involved in educational and research activities at Caucasus University since 2011, leading numerous archaeological expeditions. He published over 100 scientific works in the fields of archaeology, history, and culture of Georgia and the Caucasus, including five monographs and two textbooks, in multiple languages including Georgian, Russian, English, French, and Polish.

 

Professor Zurab Bragvadze was distinguished by hard work, intelligence, professionalism and generosity. He was deeply respected and loved by his colleagues and students.
