On January 24, the auditorium of Professor Giorgi Turkia opened at Caucasus University.

The event was attended by Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, administration officials and invited guests. Dr. Shengelia addressed the audience and talked about Prof. Giorgi Turkia. Other guests, who emphasized Prof. Giorgi Turkia's professionalism and personal qualities, also delivered speeches. They remembered the professor's work and contribution to the creation and development of Caucasus University.

Giorgi Turkia was a professor at Caucasus University, co-founder of Caucasus School of Business (1998) and Caucasus University (2005). He was the organizer and trainer of high quality state officials, managers, financiers and marketers in accordance with the new socio-economic conditions in Georgia.

It is due to his great merit that Caucasus School of Business was founded in Tbilisi.
