On April 28, a public lecture by Levan Tsikarishvili, Associate Professor of the School of Tourism, was held at Caucasus University.

The topic of the lecture was “Tao-Klarjeti and the Work of Grigol Khandzteli”. The meeting was held for senior students of Khashuri Public School #2 and others.

Various issues related to the Tao-Klarjeti region were discussed at the lecture, such as:

• A brief history and borders of Tao-Klarjeti;
• Monuments of material culture related to Grigol Khandzteli;
• The “Twelve Deserts of Klarjeti” and their modern condition.

The meeting was attended by the administration and professors of the School of Tourism. A discussion was held after the meeting.
