On September 29, the "Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia" (CSRDG), in collaboration with Caucasus University, and with the support of the European Union and Bread for the World, held a public lecture by Luciano Balbo in the conference hall of the Caucasus University, on the topic - Investing for Impact - European Experience and Trends

Luciano Balbo is the founder of Oltre Venture, an Italian impact investment fund management firm with extensive private equity experience.

The speaker shared his experience with the students of different universities on issues of impact investing in Italy. The public lecture was covered the following topics: the essence of impact investing, why invest for impact. Impact fund activities and the role of big business in creating long-term positive impact, etc.

The meeting was held in an interactive mode, the audience had the opportunity to get comprehensive answers to interesting and important issues.

The lecture was held within the framework of the project "Cooperation for Positive Change - Development of Social Entrepreneurship and Social Investments for Economic and Social Empowerment in the Eastern Partnership Countries", which is implemented in Georgia by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), with the support of the European Commission and the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA).
