Public Policy Pilot Initiatives for Youth Engagement and Mentoring

16 July 2024

On July 13, Caucasus University hosted a discussion and public presentation of policy essays as part of the Public Policy Analysis Center (PPAHub) of the Georgian Institute of Politics.

The event featured Victoria Arakeliani, a student from Black Sea International University, and Nino Shakarashvili, a student from Caucasus University. Victoria presented her policy essay on "The Gap between Ethnic Minorities and Political Parties: Barriers and Challenges in Voting in Elections," while Nino discussed her paper on “NEET youth in Georgia”.

The authors also developed informational booklets addressing other youth issues, which were shared with the attending public.

This presentation was part of the project "Public Policy Pilot Initiatives for Youth Engagement and Mentoring," implemented by GIP with support from the USAID Public Administration Program.
