Caucasus University hosted partners of Erasmus+ institutional capacity building project "RE-DIRECTION – Redefining Higher Education on a digital context, while promoting a common, inclusive and sustainable framework based on EU best practices and policy recommendations". The event was held within the framework of the project Kick-off Meeting.
During the meeting, the President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia; the Vice President for Internationalization, Irena Melua; and the Director of the International Relations Department, Ketevan Karbaia, introduced the history, mission, and vision of the university to the representatives of the partner universities. They discussed the current internationalization policy, international projects, and explored future partnership opportunities.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the partner university of Georgia, Germany, Greece and Ukraine. At the end of the meeting, the invited guests had the opportunity to visit the university as part of the campus tour.
The 15 private and public organizations involved in the project will work on the recommendations of the methodology policy in the field of digital transformation for 3 years, the improvement approaches to the involvement of migrants and internally displaced persons and the introduction of innovations in terms of green methods.
