On September 27, Caucasus University held an EU public forum Public Forum "Talking Climate". The event was organized in cooperation with Caucasus University, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and CENN. The forum was attended by 300 young participants, industry experts, government and NGO representatives.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness on climate change and environmental protection. Within the forum, a discussion was held where participants discussed the need for youth involvement in climate change.
President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, Head of the EU Delegation to Georgia, Mr. Vincent Ray and Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Mr. Levan Davitashvili addressed the public forum. They talked about challenges in Georgia, actions taken and future plans.
