On March 4, Caucasus University, in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), hosted Prof. Dr. Stefan Brunnhuber (Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, Germany), who visited Georgia as part of the Science Lecture program.

The event was opened by Irena Melua, Vice President of Caucasus University, who emphasized the importance of Sustainable Development Goals in the university’s internationalization process and highlighted the successful cooperation between Caucasus University and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Additionally, Gebhard Reul, Head of DAAD, delivered a speech stressing the significance of sustainable finance.

Prof. Brunnhuber gave a lecture on “Sustainable Finance.” Following the lecture, a panel discussion was held, featuring the following participants:

• Ms. Ekaterine Mikadze (ADB / Senior Climate Officer);
• The panel discussion was moderated by Prof. Dr. Erekle Pirveli of Caucasus University;

The event was attended by Caucasus University students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.
