On March 20, at Caucasus University, the first working meeting of the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals was held.
Vice President of Caucasus University for Internationalization, Irena Melua and Manager of Accelerator Programs and Academy of UNGCNG, Keti Botchorishvili addressed the audience.
The SDG Innovation Acceleration Program is being implemented in Georgia for the second time, and the exclusive partner of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia is the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Caucasus University.
SDGI Camp was facilitated by Sesili Verdzadze, Project Manager (Supporting Public Administration Reform in Georgia) at UNDP.
The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is an opportunity for participating companies of the UN Global Compact to empower young talent within their organizations to collaborate and accelerate business innovation towards the Sustainable Development Goals. The main theme of the SDGI Camp was to identify challenges. Participants were informed about sustainable development goals, their respective companies' challenges were discussed, and thematic exercises were conducted.
The SDG Innovation Acceleration Program for Young Professionals is conducted with the support of the United Nations Global Compact and the Swedish Government, in cooperation with the Caucasus University.
