On 9-11 April, the second international meeting of the Responsible Conduct of Research - Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS) project took place in Amsterdam, hosted by the Free University (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
The meeting was attended by representatives of Caucasus University: Boris Lezhava, Vice President, Akaki Kapanadze, Director of the Project Management Department and Sophia Kobakhidze, Director of the Research Facilitation Department. Sophia Kobakidze provided an insight into the in-house training conducted at Caucasus University as a continuation of the Kutaisi Training of Trainers (ToT) programme for Research Support Officers. In addition, she presented statistical data related to this in-house training. She also highlighted the research ethics compliance mechanisms and tools. Akaki Kapanadze presented the project dissemination document prepared at the Caucasus University. The document provides for a wide dissemination of information about the project, both at a professional level and to the general public.
The aim of the meeting was to share key developments from the consortium members, who came together to share progress updates.
