Abstract

In recent years, the growing number of patients with heart failure has resulted from multiple factors, including population aging, improved survival rates following acute cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction, and the development of effective primary and secondary prevention strategies that have significantly increased life expectancy.

The aim of the study was to assess health-promoting behaviors among patients with heart failure. The findings reveal that such behaviors are significantly influenced by factors including age, level of education, duration of illness, and adherence to physicians’ recommendations.

The study highlights the importance of education-based and psychosocial support interventions, which play a critical role in improving patients’ quality of life.
