Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), participated in an online meeting of the IAUP Board of Directors, which was held in an online format due to the epidemiological situation in the world.

During the meeting, the members of the Board of Directors presented a report on the activities performed in 2020 and the challenges that the organization is facing due to Covid-19. They discussed the planned events and activities, as well as their implementation in online format if necessary.

The members of the Board of Directors also discussed the procedural and organizational issues related to the inauguration of the new President.

Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, was elected President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP) in 2017.
