The project, "Post-Quantum Digital Signature using Verkle Trees," has been awarded a grant through NATO's "Science for Peace and Security" grant program.
As part of the project, post-quantum cryptography algorithms will be developed on the basis of the Quantum Laboratory of Caucasus University. This initiative will include both practical and scientific experiments aimed at creating more secure post-quantum encryption solutions. The project will involve both academic staff of Caucasus University and the Scientific Cyber Security Association, as well as students. The partner of the grant project is the Transylvania University of Brașov.
Project duration: 24 months.
The project director from the NATO side is Professor Razvan Bocu, Transylvania University of Brașov, and the director from the partner organizations is Professor Maksim Iavich, Caucasus University.
