The startups founded by the students of the CSB and CSE are among the top twenty in the Matching Grants Program

Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) has unveiled the 20 winners of the 150,000 GEL Matching Grants Program.

 

Among winners are startup DataStudio, founded by Tornike Kvinikadze, a graduate of the Caucasus University School of Economics. Startup Metric.ge, founded by Levan Jobava, a graduate of  Caucasus University Business School  and startup Sfero, founded by Sandro Bolkvadze, a MBA program  student of Caucasus University Business School.

 

DataStudio - is an AI-driven ERP system that revolutionizes operations management. Its distinctive feature, "intelligent vision," customizes data presentation, and it offers innovative Q&A reporting for instant insights.

 

Metric.ge - aids individuals in the process of buying cars and apartments, assisting with property selection, evaluation, and securing the necessary financing.

 

Sfero - is a recruitment platform designed to accelerate recruitment efficiency and reduce associated costs.

 

Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency announced the 150,000 GEL Matching Grants Program on July 13, 2023, for the eleventh time. The purpose of this program is to foster the development of innovative products and services with international potential in Georgia, promote their commercialization, and stimulate the creation of innovative startups.

 

The 20 winning participants of the program were selected by an investment committee composed of high-level international venture investors: Tim Wagner, Sasha Michaud, Marvin Liao, Zaza Pachulia, and Ayash Pubmra.
