On March 14, UNICEF representatives visited Caucasus University. They were hosted by the President of Caucasus University - Dr. Kakha Shengelia.
During the visit, UNICEF representatives got acquainted with the history of the university, information about schools and programs. They also spoke about future projects and programs implemented by Caucasus University.
The parties discussed issues such as: human and child rights, organization of courses and centers for the upbringing of children to raise awareness of their rights in the educational space.
The meeting was attended by UNICEF representatives: UNICEF Representative in Georgia - Dr. Ghassan Khalil, Head of Communications Program - Maya Kurtsikidze, Head of Child Protection Program - Teo Kuchava.
The Caucasus University representatives were: Academic Head of Georgian Language Training Program - Mariam Manjgaladze, Dean of Caucasus Education School - Aluda Goglichidze.
At the end of the visit, the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, took the guests on a campus tour.
