On April 25th, the president of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, hosted the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia Mahmoud Adib and Cultural Attaché, Ahmad Ali Mehri Ardestani.
During the meeting, parities have discussed the possibilities of strengthening and deepening the future cooperation between the countries, as well as, parties agreed to offer various international programs to Iranian students and to conduct joint events, which will further promote the polarization of Iranian and Georgian culture and history.
It is to be mentioned, that this was the very first visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia to Caucasus University. The president of the Caucasus University toured the campus for guests and presented them symbolic gifts.
