Visit of a representative of Koç University to Caucasus University

During the week of May 19–23, the Department of International Relations at Caucasus University hosted Ömer Eskici, a representative of Koç University, Turkey, as part of the Erasmus+ administrative staff mobility program.

 

Within the framework of the visit, an introductory meeting was held with representatives of the Department of International Relations at Caucasus University. During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing cooperation between the universities within the framework of both Erasmus+ and international bilateral programs, and explored opportunities to further deepen this collaboration.

 

Throughout the visit, various meetings and activities were organized for the representative of the partner university. The representative had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Gvantsa Abdaladze at the School of Public Administration of Caucasus University. Through this experience, he was introduced to the academic process, teaching principles at Caucasus University, and the dynamic interaction between Georgian and international students.

 

In addition, a meeting was held with Mariam Baramidze, a representative of the Student and Organizational Events Service at Caucasus University. The discussion focused on services designed to support the integration of international students and addressed current challenges in this area.

 

The representative also met with students selected for Erasmus+ mobility who will begin their studies at Koç University in the fall semester of 2025. The meeting provided students with an opportunity to learn more about Koç University’s academic structure and receive essential information regarding their upcoming mobility.

 

It is worth noting that Koç University is a key partner of Caucasus University in Turkey. The agreement between the two institutions encompasses mobility opportunities for academic and administrative staff, as well as students, within both teaching and research components.
