The Volleyball Championship “CU CUP 2025” has officially commenced on the sports field of Caucasus University. The opening ceremony was led by the President of Caucasus University, Mr. Kakha Shengelia, who inaugurated the tournament.

The ceremony featured a performance of the National Anthem of Georgia by Caucasus University Folklore Ensemble, adding a ceremonial and cultural touch to the event.

This year’s championship brings together 17 teams composed of both Georgian and international students, as well as one team representing the university administration. All matches are being officiated by professional referees invited from the Volleyball Federation of Georgia, ensuring a fair and high-standard competition.

The final match of “CU CUP 2025” will take place on October 14, during which the winning and prize-holding teams will be announced.
