The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili honoured CU Faculty Members with State Awards
On June 28, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, met with faculty members of various universities, amongst them Caucasus University. For their contribution in professional and scientific activities, they were given state awards. Mikheil Saakashvili emphasized in his speech why it was important to pass university related legislations, based on sound decisions and initiatives that have been designed in collaboration

Karting Championship
On June 27, at 20:00, the Karting Championship was held between PR Managers of leading companies and Media representatives. Caucasus University was also  participating in the event.

The competition was held under the guidance of PR club and "Gulf" with the aim of establishing close relationship and friendship between PR managers

Photo Exhibition "City"
On June 20, CU's School of Media  exhibited student works. The main aim of Guram Tsibakhasvili's class final project entitled "City" is to showcase student work to wider audience and to motivate students; the project involves the work by freshmen of CSM's new audiovisual program. Famous photographers evaluated the photos submitted by students. President of CU was awarded Education Award "Academic Palma"
On June 19, According to French Institute of Georgia, under the authority of Vincent Peillon, France's Minister of Education, Kakha Shengelia, President of CU was awarded Education Award "Academic Palma". Academic Palma was changed into its current form as an order in 1955 and is comprised of three grades: Chevalier, Officer and Commander. CU's President was awarded

Meeting with President of Georgia
President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili met with a cross section of CU students. Georgia's president elect personally hosted students in the presidential palace. The meeting was conducted in a question and answer format. Students were actively involved in asking questions. Mikheil Saakashvili proceeded to award Kakha Shengelia with the Presidential Order

Final round of CU brainstorming was held at CU
On June 10, final round of CU brainstorming was held. In the final round the schools of CSB, CSL and CST  had four teams participating. In the final round, with 18 right answers out of 24 CSL team "Hedgehog" won

Dean and Students of CSM were guests of the Morning Program on Maestro TV
Nino Zhizhilashvili, Dean of CSM discussed her students, learning environment at the university and opportunities and perspectives for alumni placements and career support. The morning program "Alarm Clock", has as one of its anchors, CU's alumnus Levan Zhorzholiani; he recently hosted Nino Zhizhilashvili along with Salome Modebadze, one of the producers of Politmetre.
