He is currently working at the intersection of Continental and Anglo-American traditions of philosophy to tackle questions regarding the legitimacy of the liberal state.

Professor Tskhadaia is also interested in discourse-theoretical approaches to studying political and social phenomena. In this connection, he published an article that shows how international rankings are used to build democratic legitimacy. Also, he takes special interest in the analysis of the discourses of automation.

Professor Tskhadaia completed his Ph.D. in Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2020. His dissertation examined the Derrida-Habermas debate and its implications for our understanding of truth, tolerance, and secularism.
