The second funded project, “Health Insurance Incentives for Disease Prevention: Opportunities and Barriers,” is authored by Magda Tsnobiladze, a Master’s student at Caucasus University, under supervision of Professor Tengiz Verulava.
This research will assess the extent to which the private health insurance system is oriented toward the promotion of disease prevention, identify key incentives and barriers, and explore ways to strengthen preventive approaches through healthcare policy and regulatory instruments.
The project’s results will be disseminated through publication in an international peer-reviewed journal and presentation at an international scientific conference. Additionally, a practice-oriented analytical document will be prepared for policymakers and healthcare administrators, alongside the organization of a policy forum aimed at fostering dialogue and supporting evidence-informed decision-making.
