Prof. Erekle Pirveli Wins CIAS Research Fellowship

Prof. Erekle Pirveli, Professor of Accounting and Finance at the Caucasus School of Business, Caucasus University, has been awarded a prestigious research fellowship by the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies (CIAS) at Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary.

 

Starting from September 1, 2025, Prof. Pirveli will join CIAS to conduct research on the role of lobbyists in the implementation of EU sustainability standards.

 


He has been selected in the Junior Research Fellow category. CIAS offers research fellowships to scholars with exceptional academic records. Applicants in the Junior Research Fellow category were required to have at least one publication in a Scopus Q1 journal.

 

Prof. Pirveli’s academic record counts:

 

  • Three Scopus Q1 publications (all as first author);
  • Two Scopus Q2 publications (as first and second author);
  • Three Scopus Q3 publications;
  • One Scopus Q4 publication.
