CSE Bachelor's thesis defense

The Bachelor's thesis defense of the Caucasus School of Economics was held on February 12 and 13, where nine students presented their research before the commission.

 

The defense presented problematic and topical issues as: The impact of political stability on economic growth; The influence of capital markets on a country's economy; The effect of international trade on economic growth in post-Soviet countries (Georgia, Ukraine, Estonia, Kazakhstan); The role of social assistance in Georgia’s economic well-being; Prospects for the development of the manufacturing industry in Georgia; The impact of corruption on economic indicators, examining the relationship between corruption levels and economic growth; The contribution of tourism to Georgia’s economic growth and its correlation with GDP and employment; Behavioral economics in the digital era: how social media affects consumer decision-making; The effect of macroeconomic factors on the profitability of commercial banks.

 

The commission included Professor Vano Benidze, Assistant Professor Medea Zurabishvili, and Associate Professor Giorgi Benashvili from the Caucasus School of Economics.
