On December 23, 2024, Akaki Mosakhlishvili, a student in the English-language doctoral program in Economics at the School of Economics, successfully presented his dissertation in a public defense at Caucasus University.
The scientific supervisor was Mariam Kharaishvili, Assistant Professor.
The defense of the dissertation was held before the dissertation board:
- Erekle Pirveli, Professor, School of Business, Caucasus University;
- Vano Benidze, Professor, School of Economics, Caucasus University;
- Mariam Kharaishvili, Assistant Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, International School of Economics (ISET).
- Sopiko Skhirtladze, Visiting Lecturer, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, International School of Economics (ISET);
- David Keshelava, Assistant Professor, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, International School of Economics (ISET);
At the defense, the student presented his work and answered questions, after which the reviewer, Professor Vano Benidze of Caucasus University, presented his own assessments.
Following the evaluation by the dissertation board, Akaki Mosakhlishvili successfully defended his dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Economics.
