200 ECTS (120 US credits) are needed to complete the Joint Bachelor’s Program in International Relations and Politics. Standard duration of the Program is 3 (three) academic years. The first two years (150 ECTS; 75 ECTS a year) are taught at Caucasus University and the last, 3rd year (50 ECTS/30 US credits) at NJCU (USA).
1 ECTS equals 25 study hours, which includes class hours and time spent on independent work (midterm and final examinations, as well as homework assignments).
The program envisages courses from a narrow sphere of studies and the free component learning courses:
Learning courses of a narrow sphere (155 ECTS):
- Mandatory learning courses - 140 ECTS;
- Optional learning courses - 15 ECTS.
Learning courses of the free component (45 ECTS credits):
- University Mandatory learning courses - 15 ECTS;
- English language (mandatory) - 10 ECTS;
- Second foreign language (mandatory) - 20 ECTS.
