On May 24-26, 27th Annual Conference of The Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe (Nispacee) was held in Prague (the Czech Republic) on the topic – ‘From Policy Design to Policy Practice’
Ms. Eka Akobia, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance, took part in the work meetings of Nispacee Steering Committee (22-23 May), where they discussed the organization's documents and various issues focused on network development. Ms. Akobia also led the General Session of the Conference - "The Role of Professionals and Values in Public Politics".
Ms. Natia Jokhadze, a lecturer at the School of Governance presented a survey "Public Policy on Access to Higher Education - Declared Policies and Reality in Georgia". The survey studies the state of access to higher education in Georgia, analyzes the results of focus groups and interviews and establishes policy recommendations for decision makers, as well as individual higher education institutions.
Nispacee is a representative organization of Central and Eastern European institutions engaged in the establishment of education, training, research and professional network of public management and administration, and aims at promoting democratic and effective governance in the region (at this stage 77 universities in the region are joining the network).
