On July 1, Caucasus School of Governance held the defense of Ana Anushidze’s PHD thesis. Ana Anushidze is a students of International Relations PHD program at the Caucasus School of Governance. The PHD candidate presented her thesis on “Azerbaijan’s economic policy in 2003-2013 through the prism of post-soviet legacy, form of governance and multi-vector foreign policy”
The academic supervisor of the thesis was Professor Sergi Kapanadze.
The defense of the thesis was attended by the members of the Dissertation Commission:
Eka Akobia, Professor, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance;
Tornike Turmanidze, Professor of Ivane Janakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Caucasus University
Giorgi Muchaidze, Associate professor of the Caucasus School of Governance;
Giorgi Tskhadaia, Associate professor of the Caucasus School of Governance;
Pikria Asanishvili, Professor of Ivane Janakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Invited member of the Commission.
The PHD candidate presented her thesis and answered the questions of the commission. Reviewers of the thesis Zurab Davitashvili, Professor of Ivane Janakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Emir Eteria, Professor of Caucasus University, presented their own evaluation of the thesis, which was followed by the scientific discussion.
According to the evaluation of the Dissertation Commission, Ana Anushidze successfully defended her thesis and was awarded a degree of Doctor of International Relations.
