Public lecture – “Main Directions and Principles of Open Governance Partnership”

On May 24, in the framework of OGP Gov Week 2022 the Caucasus University hosted the public lecture on - “Main Directions and Principles of Open Governance Partnership”.

 

On the meeting, Head of the Administrative Unit of Policy, Planning and Government Coordination Department at the Administration of the Government of Georgia Keti Tsanava and Project Coordinator at Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association’s Democratic Institutions Support Program Salome Sagharadze discussed the main principles and directions of Open Governance Partnership (OGP) Policy, Georgia’s participation in OGP and important reforms implemented within the framework of 4 Action Plans.

 

Students had an opportunity to get information on Interagency Coordination Mechanisms of the OGP Georgia and its basic features. Speakers have also introduced students to the real-life cases of modern governance, its challenges and best practices.

 

The meeting was attended by the students of BA and MA programs in Diplomacy and International Relations and Public Administration of the Caucasus School of Governance.

 

At the end of the lecture, speakers answered the students’ questions.
