Caucasus University School of Governance recently hosted a workshop titled “Anti-Corruption Reforms in Georgia,” aimed at equipping public administration students and alumni with comprehensive knowledge of the country’s ongoing reforms and challenges in combating corruption.
The event took place on November 14, 2024, at Caucasus University Library, attended by 23 participants. The initiative is part of the "Enhancing Public Administration Degree Programs (BA, MA) at Caucasus School of Governance" project, supported by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) and implemented with the support of the American people.
The workshop was led by Giorgi Kldiashvili, the Executive Director and co-founder of IDFI. His sessions offered insights into the mechanisms and strategies required to strengthen governance and transparency in public administration.
The agenda included two main sessions:
- Session 1: Introduction to anti-corruption practices.
- Session 2: Advanced discussion on implementing reforms in view of 9 points put forward by the EU.
Participants engaged in a lively Q&A and discussion session providing an interactive platform to address concerns and brainstorm solutions.
The workshop provided an excellent networking opportunity for attendees, including students, alumni, and professionals in the public administration field.
