Defense of master’s theses by students of clinical psychology and clinical art therapy master's programs

A public defense of master’s theses by students of clinical psychology and clinical art therapy master's programs was held in the Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

 

Papers on current clinical psychology issues were presented at the defense:

 

  • Study of life, orientation, meaning of life and level of frustration of parents of children with atypical development;
  • The role of drawing in the treatment of disorders accompanying autism;
  • The relationship of control, locus and meaning of life to self-realization;
  • Prevalence and characteristics of professional burnout syndrome among the employees of the penitentiary institution of Georgia;
  • Relationship of professional stress level with personal characteristics and inappropriate employment to educational level;
  • A study of self-esteem, depression and anxiety levels in individuals with acne;
  • The relationship between personal factors and the development of marijuana addiction;
  • How does the experience of war affect the works created during art therapy;
  • Difficulties in working with art therapy in bipolar disorder and ways to overcome them;
  • Difficulties of students with autistic spectrum in school and art therapy way of overcoming the problem;
  • Internet Gaming Addiction: A Case Analysis Based on Art Therapy;
  • When You Swallow Everything - Bing Eating Disorder Research and Psychotherapy Using Art;
  • The role of art therapy with children with autism spectrum disorders;
  • Art therapy focusing on sexual violence and its neurophysiological features;
  • The role of art therapy in the study and treatment of the phenomenon of agoraphobia;
  • How does the family situation and the existing environment affect children with language and speech disorders;
  • The role of severe childhood experiences in the formation of diseases caused by addiction.

 

The students have successfully defended their diploma theses and received useful advice from the members of the commission.
