On September 24-28, Caucasus School of Media students Tekla Zghudadze and Ani Meladze paid a working visit to Gyumri, Armenia, where they participated in Media Dialogue 2021 for Conflict Sensitivity and Research sessions.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the political systems, armed and frozen conflicts, media problems in the participating countries. With the involvement of the project organizers and participants, the students set up photo/blog, video and research working groups and jointly developed relevant media products.
The students had meetings with representatives of Armenian journalistic associations – “Asbarez” Journalists’ Club, Dialogue Media Press Center and TUMO. They also took part in various cognitive and cultural events. The participants in the final conference summarized the media products and results created during the visit.
The project is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and organized by Caucasus University partner OK-TV Ludwigshafen, a German organization. The project involves civil society organizations, journalistic associations, higher education institutions from Germany, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia.
