On January 20-24 of the year, Professor Giorgi Bregadze, Affiliate Professor Nato Robitashvili and Assistant Professor Nino Tigishvili were at Comrat State University in ATU Gagauzia, Republic of Moldova and attended the third cycle of training in the framework of the Erasmus + project: Designing Green Tourism Concepts Through Learning (Enricher Hub).
The training included the service design issues in action: Experiential learning methods and tools for green tourism development. In particular using a design sprint approach for problem identification and solving. In this regard teams were in the tourism complex “Gagauz Safrasi” where they evaluated the site and had meetings with different stakeholders. After collecting the baseline information and analysing, Participants worked on the main challenges and ways of solving them, created prototypes, presented and validated them to the team of the tourism complex board.
The visit also included a visit to the Comrat Winery, where the project participants learned about Moldova winemaking traditions, the history of Winery “Vinuri De Comrat”, ongoing scale of production, active markets and current challenges.
