On March 14, Caucasus Tourism School played host to Master’s degree students of George Washington University and Dr.Tom Frics, Professor of at the University and Honorary Professor of the Technical University of Berlin.

On November 12, a lecturer of Caucasus Tourism School, Levan Tsikarishvili organized a training tour for CTS freshmen to visit the old and new Shuamta, the Cathedral domed church and the ruins of a fortress town.
On November 4, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia organized a conference "Tourism Development Perspectives in Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kakheti" the participants of which were students and persons interested in tourism.

On June 23, defense of undergraduate papers was held at Caucasus University's Batumi Tourism School. The students presented findings and analysis of the research conducted in the field of tourism
On May 8-12 Caucasus Tourism School was visited by Professor of FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences, Austria, Mr. Harald Friedl to speak about sustainable tourism and Medical Tourism.
On May 23, Caucasus School of Tourism held a Student Science Conference where three winners were identified and declared by the Commission Board.
On April 27, "Expo Georgia" played host to an International Student Conference – "Prospects of Tourism Development in Georgia and its Strategic Goals" – organized by the National Tourism Administration.
