Clinical legal education equips students with practical and research skills and enables them to apply classroom learning in professional settings. Caucasus School of Law offers placements with partner organizations and runs a Legal Clinic specializing in residency-related matters.
These placements form part of the academic program and are hosted by courts, law firms, public institutions, and nonprofit legal organizations under memoranda of understanding with the School. Through this experience, students develop their legal reasoning and professional communication skills, learn to address legal problems independently, and build the practical expertise needed for a career in law.
The Legal Clinic provides accessible legal information and advice on residency and other legal matters related to living in Georgia. Through individual consultations, it helps people understand their rights and options and guides them toward further legal assistance where needed.
The clinic also plays an important educational role. By participating in its work, law students apply their academic knowledge to real cases, develop their ability to identify and analyze legal issues, and gain practical experience in professional communication and legal counseling.
The clinic is being developed in stages, with plans to introduce additional areas of practice and new services. This expansion will broaden its scope and create further opportunities for students to gain practical experience.
The clinic reflects Caucasus School of Law’s commitment to creating a learning environment that brings together academic knowledge and practical legal experience.
