On February 3, Caucasus University held a workshop for university entrants -Tolerance and Peaceful Co-existence in a Democratic Society, the aim of which was to introduce the audience to the essence of tolerance and peaceful co-existence, its role in the modern state, consider main challenges and determine ways of solving the problem with public involvement and participation.
Civic education is an effective tool for developing legal consciousness, interdependence and new outlook of the society, while tolerance and peaceful co-existence are fundamental issues of civic education determining the level of democracy of any state.
