Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Simulation Competition

The team of Caucasus University successfully competed in the Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Simulation Competition, which was held from March 26 to April 1.

 

The team of Caucasus University School of Law consisted of Besik Skhirtladze, a master’s student in law, and Elene Kakhniashvili, a master’s student at business school. The team was academically led by Konstantine Kopaliani, a graduate student at Duke University School of Law, and organizational support was provided by Caucasus School of Law trainer Tinatin Oboladze.

 

The team of Caucasus University competed in the preparatory rounds with the teams of the University of Würzburg (Germany), the University of Zagreb (Croatia), the University of Basel (Switzerland), the University of Indonesia (Indonesia).

 

The CSL Team successfully advanced to the finals and competed with universities such as the University of Cincinnati (USA), the University of Wisconsin (USA), Modern International Study (Iran), Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (Mexico).
