Law School Student Scientific Conference

On June 8, the 19th student scientific conference of the School of Law was held, focusing on the topic of "Challenges of Law in the 21st Century." Students from both undergraduate and graduate law programs participated in the conference.

 

The aim of the conference was to promote scientific research activities and develop scientific potential among young people.

 

A specially appointed commission evaluated the 14 speakers and identified the following winning papers:

 

1st Place:

Ketevan Khutsishvili, undergraduate law student

 

  • Topic: "Problematic Aspects of Gender Quotas in Georgia"

Scientific Director: Archil Borjadze

 

2nd Place:

Salome Zeikidze, undergraduate law student

 

  • Topic: "Problems of Prosecution of Medical Errors in Criminal Law"

Scientific Director: Natia Songhulashvili

 

3rd Place (Tie):

1. Lika Silagadze and Beka Tavadze, master's law students

 

  • Topic: "Electronic Health Record System and Personal Data Protection Standard in Georgia"

  • Topic: "Practical Aspects of the Retroactive Application of the Law on Mitigating Criminal Liability"
