Caucasus University is announcing a vacancy for the position of Director of the Department of Financial Management.

 

Job responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure the smooth and effective operation of the company's financial functions.
  • Conduct financial analysis of current and past periods for the university.
  • Analyze forecast financial profitability, taking into account historical statistics and future plans.
  • Evaluate financial feasibility of new investment projects and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure the effective use of financial resources and optimization of costs;
  • Oversee and manage the activities of subordinate departments.
  • Update and develop instructions and regulations to improve financial activities.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls at various stages of operations.
  • Provide annual external audit conclusions.
  • Report periodically to the immediate supervisor.
  • Review relevant correspondence as per established procedures and make decisions within the scope of authority.
  • Participate in the authorization/accreditation process within assigned responsibilities
  • Perform additional tasks and duties assigned by the immediate supervisor to ensure the department's continuous and effective functioning.

 

Qualification requirements:

 

  • Higher education - at least a Master's degree or equivalent academic degree in business/economics/physics-mathematics.
  • At least 5 (five) years of work experience in a managerial position in the field of finance and budgeting.
  • High level of knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint.

  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to manage time effectively;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Operativeness

 

Working conditions:

 

  • Work schedule: from Monday to Saturday (Saturday is a short working day, the need for the mentioned day(s) is determined by agreement with the management);
  • Salary depends on the candidate's qualifications;
  • Trial period: 6 months (paid).
