Vakhtang Berishvili is a professor at Caucasus University, and a professional financial manager and financial consultant, with a career in academia, as well as in the private and public sectors.

Vakhtang has been a Professor of Finance at the Caucasus School of Business since 2022. Previously, he held academic positions at Ilia State University and at Bank of Georgia University. For more than 20 years, Vakhtang has taught various financial subjects, including Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Managerial Accounting, Risk Management, and Financial Analysis. Prior to his current position, Vakhtang served in various managerial positions in Georgian and international organizations.

Vakhtang Berishvili holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ilia State University (Financial Analysis), complemented by an MBA from Caucasus School of Business.

Although he was primarily engaged in lecturing activities during the earlier part of his academic career, he intensified research activities in recent years and has several publications in the field of finance, energy efficiency, and business administration.
