On March 19th, at 13:00, the library of Caucasus University will host a public lecture titled "Georgia's Path to Europe: From Candidacy to Full Membership" by invited speaker Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, a Doctor of Law.

The objectives of the public lecture are:

• To analyze the stages of Georgia's integration into Europe.
• To discuss the decision made by the European Council on December 14, 2023, to grant Georgia the status of a candidate for EU membership.
• To examine the historical, domestic, and foreign factors influencing Georgia's European integration process, emphasizing Georgia's civilizational and strategic choice.
• To summarize the reforms required in key areas of the country's development, which are a necessary condition for using the geopolitical opportunities and realizing Georgia's European aspirations.
