Organized by Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), the UNI4VERSE -University Competition Demo Day was held at Tech Park. Representing Caucasus University, the startup BioNova, winner of the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s pre-acceleration program CUnicorn, participated in the event.
As part of the Demo Day, BioNova presented both its innovative concept and a physical prototype aimed at generating renewable energy through the processing of biomass using green technologies.
Notably, BioNova was named the “People’s Choice Startup”, receiving the highest level of public support based on the number of reactions to its promotional video on social media platforms.
BioNova is considered one of the most successful student-led startups, already earning significant recognition, including:
- Named Agropreneur of the Year
- Winner of the Social Impact Award 2024
- Recipient of GITA’s regional grant competition
- Selected among the Top 3 AgriTech startups in Poland
This year, UNI4VERSE focused on the theme of Green Economy and Renewable Resources, offering participating students the opportunity to contribute innovative solutions that promote environmental sustainability.
